PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content distribution system for providing content desired by a user with high quality as it is about compressed content to be transmitted by a broadcast wave.

SOLUTION: This digital television 100 is provided with a high quality content acquiring part 23 for preliminarily acquiring high quality data for reproducing high quality content which has the same contents as broadcast content broadcasted by a broadcast wave and has high quality than the broadcast content, and a content reproducing part 24 for reproducing the high quality content while synchronizing with the broadcast of the broadcast content on the basis of the acquired high quality data. Then, it is possible to reproduce the content desired by the user with the high quality as it is about the compressed content transmitted by a broadcast wave.
