<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method capable of automatically receiving notice of information related to a last train everywhere by a user without grasping a departure time of the last train in advance. <P>SOLUTION: The time which went back before from the departure time of the last train is designated at a designation time for receiving the information related to the last train, destination information becoming the destination, for example, home information is set and previously registered in a database 43 for last train notification of a last train notification server 4 from a portable terminal of the user, for example, a cellular phone 1.
