<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system, capable of easily and surely performing alteration of a processing program as occasion demands. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 28 includes a read-only ROM 29, a read/write RAM 30, and the like and executes predetermined processing. The CPU further receives a processing program from FM 32 through a plurality of lines, and executes control according to the processing program. The CPU 28 transfers command and/or program data related to erasing and rewriting to the FM 32 which is received from an external device via an interface means 34 and a terminal 8 and temporarily stored in the RAM 30 to the FM 32.
