PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery monitoring device capable of accurate monitoring. SOLUTION: A battery voltage which is an inter-terminal voltage of a battery 10 and a battery current which is an output current of the battery 10 by a current sensor are subjected to A/D conversion and taken into ECU 1, to thereby monitor the battery 10. In this device equipped with an A/D converter 3 for inputting a signal corresponding to the magnitude of the battery current and an A/D converter 4 for inputting a signal corresponding to the magnitude of the battery voltage, sampling of a signal corresponding to the magnitude of the battery current in the A/D converter 3 and sampling of a signal corresponding to the magnitude of the battery voltage in the A/D converter 4 are performed in the same period with no phase difference.
