PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of emitting ions generated from an ion generator, uniformly to the whole space in a storage chamber through a cold air duct by installing the ion generator in the cold air duct for supplying cold air to the storage chamber, and effectively transmitting ions emitted from the ion generator, to the storage chamber through the cold air duct by applying antistatic treatment to a suitable zone of the cold air duct in which the ion generator is installed. SOLUTION: The refrigerator comprises at least one storage chamber 3 or 4; the cold air duct 20 arranged in the storage chambers 3, 4; a cooling fan 11 for discharging cold air to the cold air duct 20; and the ion generator 30 installed in the cold air duct 20 and emitting ions to the storage chambers 3, 4 through the cold air duct 20.
