PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt of a continuously variable transmission free from slipping, and the continuously variable transmission including the belt. SOLUTION: This continuously variable transmission CVT for variably transmitting power, includes a primary pulley to which the power is input, a secondary pulley receiving the transmission of power from the primary pulley, and the belt for transmitting the power from the primary pulley to the secondary pulley, and the belt includes at least one ring, and a space for positioning the ring, and the space includes a groove in which the ring is inserted.
