PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-wheel motor system arranging a stopper member capable of effectively regulating displacing quantity in the vertical direction of a cushioning mechanism. SOLUTION: It is devised to restrain the maximum displacing quantity of the cushioning mechanism 10 by providing a hollow disc type rib member 20 projected to the inside in the diametrical direction on an inner peripheral side of a non-rotating side case 3a of the in-wheel motor 3, providing a cutout part on the rib member 20, arranging receiver members 14A, 14B for a guide to receive a rod 12b of a direct-acting guide 12 with a spring, a spring member 12B and a rod 13b of a direct-acting guide 13 on the cutout part, providing projected parts 17A, 17B projected in the vertical direction of the vehicle on an upper part and a lower part of a knuckle side plate 11 and respectively mounting semi-spherical rubber bushes 18A, 18B to function as stopper rubber at positions corresponding to an upper surface and a lower surface of the projected parts 17A, 17B of the upper and lower receiver members 14A, 14B for guiding.
