PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change the material of a wooden stick for fencing for the safety, and to add a folding function to the wooden stick. SOLUTION: The stick for practice is made by combining plate members as the safety is respected. A joint part with the folding function is disposed at the center, so that the stick is divided into two parts. Specifically, the stick is divided into two short parts: the "left side part" and the "right side part". The "left side part" consists of a group of plate members, etc. on the left side as seen from the joint part at the center in Fig.1 and the part on the left side of the joint part, and the "right side part" consists of a group of plate members on the right side and the part on the right side of the joint part. Accordingly, the stick can be conveniently stored and carried. On the other hand, the stick for actual fighting has the same joint part, as compared with the one for practice, but the plate members are different because the plate members of the stick for actual fighting are made of a mass of a single material like that of a wooden sword sold on the market.
