PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely find and prevent a fraud with a fraudulent device that causes misidentification of token supply. SOLUTION: This token selector is provided with an acceptance prohibition means changing over between an acceptable state and an acceptance prohibition state relative to supplied tokens, a selecting means selecting regular tokens from false tokens and returning the false tokens, and a count sensor part 18 detecting the passing of the tokens to be accepted in the downstream side of the acceptance prohibition means and the selecting means and outputting detection signals corresponding to the number of accepted tokens; and rolls the counted tokens to guide them to a downstream-side acceptance part 16. This token selector is further provided with a storage detecting means outputting a detecting signal by extracting/retracting a tip part 34a by the presence/absence of abutment of the tokens, on a token rolling surface 9 of a token passage between the count sensor part 18 and the acceptance part 16.
