A home appliance and a program recording medium are provided to immediately connect a home appliance interworking with a certain terminal unit having a bi-directional data communication function to an A/S center which is closest from the home appliance when the home appliance needs an after-care service. An information receiving unit(200) receives branch(or staff) communication channel connection information of a branch positioned to be closest from a server. A communication channel connecting unit(205) automatically connects a communication channel to the brand(or the staff) by using the received communication channel connection information.
