A network printer system, a printer, and a method and a program for controlling a computer are provided to enable a user to reduce effort for performing network setting network of the printer connected to the network. The first printer(200) includes the first network setting information storing part storing predetermined network setting information, a wireless communication setting part setting wireless communication with the second printer(300a), and a network setting information transmitter. The network setting information transmitter transmits the network setting information stored in the first network setting information storing part to the second printer by the set wireless communication. The second printer includes a network setting information receiver, the second network setting information storing part storing the network setting information received in the network setting information receiver, and a switch. The switch switches the network setting according to the network setting information stored in the second network setting information storing part.
