POLYMER MEMBRANE, A METHOD FOR PREPARING THE POLYMER MEMBRANE AND A FUEL CELL EMPLOYING THE SAME

A polymer membrane is provided to effectively reduce a crossover phenomenon that takes place in a fuel cell. The polymer membrane comprises a porous polymer matrix, and an acrylic polymer infiltrated into pores of the porous polymer matrix. The polymer membrane is prepared by the steps of: preparing a porous polymer matrix; mixing acrylic polyol and a hardener with a solvent to prepare an impregnation solution; impregnating the porous polymer matrix with the impregnation solution; and heating the impregnated material to remove solvent and hardening the resultant to prepare a polymer membrane.
