The invention relates to medicine, namely to pulmonology, therapy and functional diagnostics also can be used for diagnostics of a bronchiectatic disease in children. The method of bronchiectatic disease diagnostics in children consists in determination of the difference of length of the left and right half-circle of the thorax on inhalation and exhalation, comparison of the rigidity index of both halves of thorax and at its decreasing on one of the sides of the thorax the presence of disease on this side is determined.
