METHOD OF DEGREASING FRIABLE METAL CHIPS

A method of degreasing the friable metal chips of nonferrous metals includes continuous supply of initial shaving in the centrifugal field of the rotor of centrifuge and the continuous removal of degreased chips and cutting fluid. The surface of initial chips prior to its supply into the centrifugal field is covered with a layer of depleted cutting fluid. As depleted cutting fluid a water phase is used, which is formed during settling of the cutting fluid, which was isolated during preliminary centrifugation of chips. The depleted cutting fluid is used with the content of oil in it in amount of 0.5-1.5%.
