The proposed method for measuring a pulse duty factor consists in forming a measurement time interval, which length is determined with consideration for the required measurement error, filling the time interval with the controlled pulses, determining the length of each controlled pulse by filling the time interval that corresponds to the length of the pulse with reference frequency pulses, determining the period of the controlled pulses by filling the time interval that corresponds to the period of the pulses with reference frequency pulses, determining the average length of the pulse and the average period of the pulses within the measurement range, and determining the duty factor as the ratio between the average length of the pulse and the average period of the pulses. The proposed method is distinctive by its increased accuracy.
