FLAT FLUORESCENT LAMP AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY HAVING THE SAME

A flat fluorescent lamp and a liquid crystal display having the same are provided to prevent the generation of blackening effect and pinky discharge by suppressing migration of mercury for a long time. A lower substrate(170) has a shape of plane. An upper substrate(160) is separated from the lower substrate and is formed with a space preparation part for preparing a plurality of discharge spaces and a space division part for dividing the discharge spaces. A plurality of barrier ribs(250) are formed between the space division part and the lower substrate in order to shield a flow of gas to adjacent discharge spaces. A first and second electrodes(210,220) are formed at both outsides of a front surface of the upper substrate. Upper phosphor is formed on the upper substrate. A reflective layer is formed on the lower substrate. Lower phosphor(190) is formed on the reflective layer.
