An anti-theft apparatus for a vehicle is provided to generate a warning sound from a warning unit when a brake pedal is pressed. An anti-theft apparatus includes a lock member(50), an actuator(60), and a piston(63). The lock member has one end attached to a dash board which divides an engine room and a passenger compartment and the other end having a hole(51) for insertion of a brake pedal(2). The actuator is arranged at one side of the lock member via a bracket(61), and operates by a remote controller key(62). The piston is inserted into a hole formed at side members(52) which form the hole of the lock member during operation of the actuator.
