A plate (2) has cable outlets (5) arranged in a deepened middle area (14) of the base plate that is provided between a socket and a distributor area of a switching cabinet. A housing surrounds the distributor area, and a socket is arranged under the housing. The distributor area is separated by the base plate. Mounting frames are provided in the distributor area, and individual blocks are secured to strip terminals at the mounting frames. An independent claim is also included for a method for partial replacement of the base plate.
