SYNTHETIC METHOD OF DIALKYLCARBONATES

Provided is a method for preparing a dialkyl carbonate under mild condition without using toxic materials to improve production yield and to allow the impurities to be separated easily. A method comprises the step of reacting an alcohol compound and a chloroformate derivative in the presence of an imidazole compound to prepare a dialkyl carbonate represented by a formula 1, wherein R1 and R2 are identical or different each other and are a C1-C18 fluoroalkyl group containing 1-8 fluorine atoms, a C1-C18 alkyl group, a C1-C18 alkenyl group or a phenyl group. Preferably the amount of a chloroformate derivative and an imidazole compound is 1-1.5 mol and 1-2 mol, respectively based on 1 mol of an alcohol compound.
