An exhaust gas recirculation apparatus for a vehicle is provided to actively burn carbon particles stuck to an inner surface of an exhaust valve to remove harmful components. An exhaust gas recirculation apparatus for a vehicle includes an exhaust manifold(2), an exhaust pipe(3), a cooler(4), an exhaust valve(5), a suction manifold(6), a combustion chamber(7), an introduction pipe(8), an exhaust pipe(9), a guide pipe(10), and a recycling valve(11). The exhaust manifold exhausts an exhaust gas through the exhaust pipe. The cooler cools the exhaust gas. The exhaust valve is opened or closed to control flow of the exhaust gas to introduce the exhaust gas into the suction manifold with the new air. The combustion chamber re-burns the exhaust gas. The introduction pipe introduces the exhaust gas. The exhaust pipe is in communication with the guide pipe and opened or closed by the recycling valve.
