A bathtub composition for manufacturing high-functional eco-friendly bathtubs is provided to radiate beneficial and various materials such as far-infrared ray and to form the bathtub with functionality better than conventional bathtubs made of onyx or marble by using various shells including cockle, ear-shell, oyster and the like as well as typical materials such as synthetic resin and a hardening agent. The composition comprises 10-70wt.% of shell particles, 10-30wt.% of synthetic resin and 1-5wt.% of a hardening agent and is prepared by vacuum mixing all of the components. The shell powder is obtained by washing the recycled shell particles in a washing machine to remove impurities from the shell particles, drying and calcining the washed materials at 100-1200deg.C. The recycled shell particles have particle size of 20 to 500 meshes. The bathtub is fabricated by introducing all of the shell particles, the synthetic resin and the hardening agent into a vacuum mixer, blending the mixture for 10 minutes to 2 hours, pouring the mixture into a molding frame for bathtub and drying the mixture for 30 minutes to 6 hours.
