LIGHT GUIDE PLATE OF THE LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

A light guide plate of an LCD is provided to improve brightness of light from a light guide plate and brightness uniformity by forming a prism-bar shaped or pyramid shaped brightness improving pattern at a light reflective surface and a light emission surface of the light guide plate. Side surfaces(130) include a first surface(110) from which light is emitted, a second surface(120) facing the first surface, and an incident surface(135) connecting the first surface with the second surface, on which the light is incident. The second surface includes first brightness improving patterns engraved more densely away from the light incident surface. The first brightness improving patterns have a prism bar shape. The first brightness improving patterns have a pyramid shape.
