LCD DEVICE WITH SINGLE GATE LAYER

摘要

An LCD having a single-layered gate line is provided to reduce contact resistance between a gate line and an ITO(Indium Tin Oxide) and improve an electrical characteristic and image quality of the LCD by forming the gate line of a single line of Al-C-Nb alloy and thus preventing formation of Al2O3 caused by oxidation at an interface between the gate line and the ITO. An LCD device includes a pixel area defined by intersection of a gate line and a data line. The gate line is formed of a single line of Al-C-Nb alloy. The Al-C-Nb alloy includes Al of 94.5 to 96.9at.%, C of 0.1 to 0.5at%, and Nb of 3 to 5at.%.
