A device for transporting and cleaning tuberous roots is used in agricultural machine building as a working element of potato-harvesting machines. A brush of an activator thereof has a driven cranked shaft arranged on the longitudinal axle of a hollow cone. Three U-shaped portions of the cranked shaft are arranged at different distances one from the other along axle length and planes of arranging thereof have a relative shift in space for 120 DEGREE along the length of a circle. On each of the U-shaped portions flat cleaning elastic blades are hingedly mounted, the length and rigidity of those reduce in the direction towards the outlet end of the hollow cone. A technical result is as follows: increasing the quality of cleaning tuberous roots from dirt by 10...15%.
