Combustion engine has at least one module of two working and one expansion cylinder, at that each working cylinder is connected to expansion cylinder by bypass channel, it has inlet and bypass valves and appliance for charge ignition, and expansion cylinder has at least one discharge valve. Crank ofcrank shaft of expansion cylinder is turned with respect to cranks of working cylinders in direction of rotation of crankshaft by angle equal to 230-260 DEGREE .
