The proposed device for monitoring electric power consumption contains an inductive electric power meter, an optical transducer for measuring number of revolutions of the disk of the power meter, two pulse counters, a comparator, a timer, and an output amplifier. The input of the first pulse counter is connected to the output of the optical transducer, and the output is connected to the first input of the comparator. The output of the timer is connected to the reset inputs of the counters and the second input of the comparator. The output of the comparator is connected to the input of the output amplifier. The output signal of the proposed device can be used for connecting and disconnecting power consumers.
