A system for relaying personal information and a method thereof are provided to protect personal information from being exposed on networks and enable a user, who tries to use personal information, to easily obtain desired information by managing and operating privacy policies through an intermediation system which provides personal information. A system for relaying personal information is comprised of an intermediation system(100), a personal terminal(210), and a personal information request terminal. The intermediation system stores personal information and privacy policy information, and executes the collection, provisioning, and intermediation of personal information. The personal terminal accesses the intermediation system, provides personal information, and registers or modifies a privacy policy. The personal information request terminal accesses the intermediation system, and utilizes personal information. If the personal information request terminal requests a specific user's personal information to the intermediation system, the intermediation system provides requested personal information according to the specific user's registered privacy policy.
