A method and a system for transferring contents in a multiple network are provided to ensure service continuity to customers by selecting a network detouring a specific network when an emergency situation occurs. A system for transferring contents in a multiple network consists of a terminal(110), a contents database(120), and a contents distributor(130). The contents distributor comprises a contents request processor(220), a network selector(250), a network monitor(270), and a contents transmitter(240). The contents request processor receives a contents request message from the terminal through one of the multiple network. The network selector receives the contents request from the contents request processor, analyzes the information of the multiple network, selects one or more networks, based on the user's preference, and provides network selection information to the contents transmitter. The network monitor, connected to the multiple network, provides the information of each network to the network selector in real time. The contents transmitter, connected to the contents database, extracts associated contents, based on the contents request, and transmits the extracted contents using one or more networks based on the network selection information provided from the network selector.
