Provided are an acrylamide-styrene copolymer which improves the miscibility with a liquid crystal, its preparation method, a resin for a polymer dispersed liquid crystal display matrix containing the copolymer, and a composite thin film for a polymer dispersed liquid crystal display containing the copolymer. An acrylamide-styrene copolymer is represented by a formula 1, wherein R1, R2 and R3 are identical or different one another and are H, a halogen atom, or a C1-C6 alkyl group, but a case that all of R1, R2 and R3 are H is excluded; m is an integer of 200-1,500; and n is an integer of 5,000-8,000. Preferably the acrylamide-styrene copolymer has a weight average molecular weight of 480,000-730,000 and contains 11.4-19.4 wt% of nitrogen.
