A mobile communication terminal and a method for requesting a rescue service by using a radio frequency are provided to solve a problem that a user is not able to request a rescue service due to impossible to make a call when an emergency state occurs in a state in which a user is out of a service area. A frequency modulator(100) modulates a voice signal for a rescue service such that the voice signal is suitable for a radio frequency band. A frequency receiver(300) checks intensities of received frequencies according to radio channels. A controller(400) creates a list of the intensities according to the radio channels, and transmits the modulated rescue service through the channel according to the intensity in the list of the intensities if a radio frequency list according to the channel is generated and the modulated rescue signal is transmitted. A memory stores the list of the radio frequency.
