Radical interceptors as stabilizers of polymerizable compounds

A method for stabilizing polymerizable compounds against polymerisation in processing, storage and/or transport, involves using radical interceptor(s) with at least two glycine units, other than ethylenediamine tetra-acetic acid, diethylenetriamine penta-acetic acid, trans-1,2-cyclohexanediaminetetra-acetic acid and their alkali or alkaline earth salts. Independent claims are also included for (1) stabilizer mixtures containing radical interceptors as above together with other (co)stabilizer(s); and (2) mixtures containing stabilizer mixtures as above together with polymerizable compounds.
