<p>A motor with a rearranged bearing configuration for reducing an axial length, hence dimensions thereof, is to be provided. In a motor (1) including a stator (2) fixed to an inner circumferential wall of a housing (9), a rotating shaft (7) rotatably supported by the housing (9) via bearings (5, 6), and a rotor (4) fixed to the rotating shaft (7), the rotor (4) includes a disk-shaped portion (4b) disposed coaxially with the rotating shaft (7) and a cylindrical portion (4a) extending parallel to the rotating shaft (7) from a circumferential edge of the disk-shaped portion (4b), such that the rotor (4) constitutes a cylindrical shape with the disk-shaped portion (4b) closing an end portion thereof. Locating a portion of the bearing (5) and of a rotation detector (8) inside the cylindrical portion (4a) of the rotor (4) allows reducing the axial length of the motor (1),</p> |
