A frozen burst prevention system for a heat exchanger is provided to safely prevent the heat exchanger from being frozen and burst and to efficiently control frozen burst prevention for the heat exchanger. A frozen burst prevention system for a heat exchanger(10a) includes a heat pipe(11a), a heat sink pin(16), a fluid inlet header(14a), a fluid outlet header(15a), an auto air passage side(18), a heater(21), and a plurality of frozen burst prevention units(30). The heat pipe forms straight parts(12) and curved parts(13) repetitively and fluid of heat source flows in an inside thereof. The heat sink pin is mounted for receiving the heat pipe. The fluid inlet header is coupled to a fluid inlet side of the heat pipe and is connected to a fluid inlet pipe(41). The fluid outlet header is coupled to a fluid outlet side of the heat pipe and is connected to a fluid outlet pipe(45). The auto air passage side is installed on an uppermost part of the fluid outlet header. The heater heats fluid inside the heat exchanger for preventing frozen burst of the heat exchanger. The plurality of frozen burst prevention units are installed inside the heat exchanger for preventing the frozen burst by transferring an expansion pressure outside when the fluid inside the heat exchanger is frozen. |
