摘要 A negative electrode active material is provided to increase a charge and discharge capacity of a lithium battery, to improve a capacity maintenance characteristic even if charge and discharge are repeated, and thus produces a lithium battery having improved reliance. The negative electrode active material comprises carbon nanotubes and metal nanoparticles. The carbon nanotubes are single-wall carbon nanotubes or multi-wall carbon nanotubes. The metal nanoparticles have a particle size of 3-100nm. The metal nanoparticles are at least one selected from the group consisting of Sn nanoparticles, Zn nanoparticles, Ti nanoparticles, W nanoparticles, Al nanoparticles, Ni nanoparticles, Co nanoparticles, Au nanoparticles, Pt nanoparticles, Pd nanoparticles, Ru nanoparticles, Ag nanoparticles, and Cu nanoparticles.
