A bank in a river or a reservoir is provided to increase the capacity of stored water by automatically lifting a blocking wall when water is stored higher than bank due to an amount of water. A bank constructed in a river or a reservoir includes an actuating part(20), a folded blocking wall(30), and a movable float(40). The actuating part(20) is provided with a predetermined space in an internal middle part of the bank. The folded blocking wall(30) is coupled to an end portion of an elastic member fixedly coupled to a rotating shaft in the center of the actuating part(20). The movable float(40) is coupled to an end portion of the blocking wall(30) introduced into an upper portion of the bank and positioned on an upper portion of the bank.
