A stepping motor is provided to properly compensate the tolerance of each part generated during an assembly process by controlling the clearance of a lead screw. A stepping motor includes a bracket, a pivot bearing, a ball bearing, a lead screw, a magnet, a housing(140), a stator, an elastic supporting unit, and a supporting unit(170). The bracket has both side plates. The pivot bearing is coupled to the one side plate of the bracket. The ball bearing is inserted in the pivot bearing. The lead screw is inserted and supported in the other side plate. The ball bearing supports the lead screw to smoothly rotate. The magnet is fixed on an outer surface of the lead screw. The housing(140) is coupled on outer surface of the other side plate of the bracket. The stator is assembled inside the housing(140) and rotates the lead screw in a reverse or forward direction by operating with the magnet. The elastic supporting unit is installed inside the housing(140), and rotatably and elastically supports the lead screw. The supporting unit(170) guides and supports the elastic supporting unit.
