An LCD is provided to prevent damage to an LCD panel and allow application of a thin LCD panel by forming a panel support formed of an elastic material to elastically support the LCD panel and including a panel receiving part receiving at least one area of the LCD panel. An upper chassis(10) is disposed on an LCD panel(20). A panel support(80) is formed of an elastic material to elastically support the LCD panel and including a panel receiving part receiving at least one area of the LCD panel. A mold(90) is disposed under the panel support to support the panel support. The panel support is disposed between the upper chassis and the LCD panel. The panel support includes a plurality of partial support portions(80a,80b,80c) supporting a corner area of the LCD panel. |
