PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible heat-sensitive recording medium having excellent durability without generating a hitting mark to the medium even by a repeated use, preventing a curl and being not liable to generate a crack. SOLUTION: The reversible heat-sensitive recording medium comprises a reversible heat-sensitive recording layer containing a reversible heat-sensitive composition capable of forming a state in which an electron donative colorant compound and an electron acceptive compound relatively color develop due to a difference of heating temperatures and/or cooling speeds after heating on base paper. The medium further comprises a curl preventive layer provided at an opposite side to the recording layer of the paper. Peak temperatures of viscoelasticity logarithmic decrements measured according to a rigid pendulum automatic attenuation vibrating method of the reversible heat-sensitive recording layer side and the curl preventive layer side are 100 to lower than 150 deg.C, and the logarithmic decrement at the peak temperature is 0.05 to less than 0.30. |
