An active material supporter for a lead-acid battery is provided to be applicable to a tube type lead-acid battery, to have an active material fall-off prevention effect, and to be superior in mechanical properties, workability, and shape stability. The active material supporter for a lead-acid battery comprises (i) a crude spunbond non-woven fabric which is prepared from at least one resin selected from the group consisting of polyolefin resins and polyester resins, includes filament fiber having an average fineness of 2-15denier, and has a weight per unit area of 50-200g/m^2, and (ii) a hydrophilic resin with which the crude non-woven fabric is impregnated. |
