METHOD OF URGENT SURGICAL TREATMENT OF THE IDIOPATHIC THROMBOCYTOPENIC PURPURA PATIENTS COMPLICATED BY INTRA-ABDOMINAL BLEEDING.

A method of patients with urgent surgical treatment of the idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura complicated by intra-abdominal hemorrhage consists in conduction of urgent splenectomy and ovary sewing. If the cystic changes are present the ovarian resection is made. The treatment includes three stages of sequential operations: the first stage consists in evacuation of a free blood from abdominal cavity for its further refusion, thereafter the tamponage of the pelvic cavity is carried out by a gauze serviette for a temporary stopping of the bleeding without distinct identification of its source. At the second stage the splenectomy is carried out. At a final third stage of the urgent operation the surgical correction of ovarian pathological changes caused by the intra-abdominal hemorrhage is carried out.
