A plasma display panel and a manufacturing method of the same are provided to convert vacuum ultraviolet rays into light by forming a quantum dot layer on a front substrate or a rear substrate. A plasma display panel includes a front substrate(201), a rear substrate(211), and a quantum dot layer(209). The front substrate and the rear substrate are attached to each other at a predetermined interval. The quantum dot layer is formed on the front substrate or the rear substrate. Phosphor(214) is formed on the rear substrate. The quantum dot layer is formed on the phosphor. The phosphor includes quantum materials.
