An air conditioner is provided to realize a structure for clearly representing a coupling position between a valve fixing plate and a base plate for helping a worker to couple valve the fixing plate and the base plate precisely in a short time. An air conditioner includes a base plate(18) forming a lower part of an outdoor unit and a valve fixing plate(39) coupled with the base plate. The base plate has a holding protrusion(18c) protruded from a side wall part upward for representing a coupling position for the valve fixing plate, wherein screw holes(19) are formed adjacent to the holding protrusion in the side wall part. The valve fixing plate has holding pieces(45) fitted on the side wall part of the base plate and formed with through-holes(48) corresponding to the screw holes around the holding protrusion, wherein a position where the screw holes are accordance with the through-holes is the coupling position.
