A light emitting apparatus is provided to prevent a stripping phenomenon of an end portion of a dielectric film, which is in contact with a sealing material, using a non-overlapped end portion of a dielectric film with respect to a step portion of a conductive film. A first substrate(104) has a pixel unit(100) having a light emitting device, and a sealing region(103) encompassing the pixel unit. A sealing material(108) is formed to the sealing region. A second substrate(110) is fixed to the first substrate with the sealing material. A first dielectric film(105) is formed on the first substrate. A conductive film(106) is formed on the first dielectric film. A second dielectric film(107) is formed on the conductive film and the first dielectric film. An end portion and a side surface of the second dielectric film are in contact with the sealing material, and an upper edge of the second dielectric film is covered with the sealing material. The end of the second dielectric film is not overlapped with a step portion formed by a side surface and a top surface of the conductive film. |
