A spatial filtering member and a confocal scanning microscope having the same are provided to easily perform an aligning operation by positioning a lens and the spatial filtering member on the same line while satisfying a confocal condition. A plurality of first holes are formed on a first filter at regular intervals and have a diameter equal to a size of light at a position wherein a sample(240) is positioned at a focus distance of a lens. A light interrupting member is installed in the first hole to interrupt a portion of the light passing through the first hole. The light interrupting member of the first filter is smaller than the size of the light at the position.
