A motor for driving a lens is provided to prevent a spring from being twisted, deformed or rotated by forming a plurality of opening units having different width and guide protrusions corresponding to the opening units. A motor for driving a lens includes a base(110), a housing(120), a yoke(130), a magnet(140), a carrier(150), a coil, and a spring(170). The housing(120) is connected to the base(110). The yoke(130) is fixed on an inner circumferential plane of the housing(120). The magnet(140) is fixed on the yoke(130). The carrier(150) is installed inside the yoke(130) to ascend and descend. The lens is connected to a center of the carrier(150). The coil is fixed on an outer circumference plane of the carrier(150) to be opposite to the magnet(140). The coil(160) ascends the carrier(150) by being coupled to the magnet(140). The spring(170) is provided between the carrier(150) and the housing(120), and elastically supports the carrier(150). A plurality of opening units are formed on a side plane of the housing(120). The spring(170) has a ring shape. An inner side of the spring(170) is fixed on an outer circumferential plane of the carrier(150). A guide protrusion contacted with an inner plane of the opening unit of the housing(120) is formed on an outer side of the spring(170).
