A display device is provided to reduce a brightness difference between adjacent display lines by compensating for display data using a display line brightness difference compensator. A display device includes temperature detectors(103,113) and display data compensators(102,112). The temperature detectors detect the temperature of the display device. The display data compensators compensate for the display data according to the detected temperature and the display contents of the respective display lines. The compensator controls a gain on the display data to compensate for the display data. The compensator gamma-compensates for the display data. The temperature detectors use thermistor to detect the temperature. |
