A base structure of a washing machine is provided to easily assemble the base structure and reduce the number of processes by including an engaging unit for engaging a cabinet and a base with a hook. A base structure of a washing machine includes a cabinet, a base(52), and an engaging unit(60). The cabinet forms the appearance of the base structure. The base is mounted to a lower portion of the cabinet. The engaging unit is provided in at least one of the cabinet and the base to engage the cabinet and the hook by using a hook. The engaging unit is a hook protruding from the circumferential surface of the base so that a lower portion of the cabinet can be contacted with the upper side of the base and then caught. |
