[Also in Divisions H1 and H2] A joint between adjacent tubular lengths of a bus-bar installation comprises two mating connecting members forming a substantially spherical chamber 17, each member being formed with a circular connecting bolted rim 20 lying in a diametric plane 19 making an acute angle with the axis of the tubular length to which it is sealed. Sealing of the two lengths of internal bus-bar conductors i.e. 22 may be accomplished through a spherical chamber 23 with sealing rings 31 or a flexible insulating sleeve (34, Fig. 4, not shown). |
