<p>A method for managing Java applications in a mobile terminal is provided to move the Java application between the mobile terminal and an external memory without an interim stage by discriminating the general folders and the Java application, and managing the Java application with a physical real file structure. If the folder is inputted to the mobile terminal, the structure of the inputted folder is checked whether the extension name of a file is jar or jad in the inputted folder(304). If the folder is the Java application, the Java application is physically separated from the general folders by adding an identifier to a name of the Java application, and a predetermined function is performed(305). The folder is inputted from a networked server, or an external memory including a USB(Universal Serial Bus) and MMC(Multimedia Memory Card) memory. The Java application executes the predetermined function in a folder unit.</p> |
