A group message writing method in a mobile communication terminal is provided to allow the terminal to write messages which include different contents at a time and to transmit the written messages to plural users, thereby solving inconvenience of repeating an operation of writing and sending messages as many as the number of the plural users. In case of a group message transmission mode, it is checked whether plural users who are to receive messages are inputted(201,203). If so, a common message input window for sending the messages to all of the plural users and individual message input windows for sending the messages to each of the users are generated(205,207). It is checked whether a common message and individual messages are written by a user(209,211). If so, the written common message is combined with the respective individual messages, and the combined messages are transmitted to the plural users(213-217).
